Our finished Opening Title Sequence.

We had to completely change our idea in order for us to produce a successful opening title sequence. We filmed footage in college, using the camera hand-held, in order for an eerie, shaky effect to connote the typical horror feelings towards our audience. I then filmed various peoples faces in the style of close ups, with them looking menacingly into the camera. We did have our doubts about the final result of the footage, although when it was edited into slow motion, it was incredibly eerie and connoted the exact feelings we were hoping for. During our filming process we should have been much more organised and this is reflected in the fact that our final opening sequence does not have a real storyline, and is more of a montage, which also work well in the opening sequences of films.

Planning: Filming

On Thursday, 13th January I carried out filming in college using Laura and Jordan as the characters. Unfortunately, the footage we attained was not continuous and therefore we have had to re cast and devise another storyboard. The filming will now be carried out this weekend, but we instead of using college as a location we are going to use a house, as well as keeping the scene in the woods. The main characters now are Paul Austin and Sarah Jane Tyrer.

Planning : Filming

Again, the filming I did in the wood was unsuccessful due to it being too dark. The footage could not be seen and it was virtually impossible to film. I have now booked out a camera for tomorrow, when I will film the footage in the woods after college, and hopefully before it gets too dark.

Planning : Filming

This evening I will film the scene in the Woods, with Laura playing the main character, and Jordan playing the character that follows her. We intend to film before it gets too dark.

Planning : Filming

The filming that I did today with Laura and Molly was unsuccessful,  as the camera was shaky and when I watched the footage back, I saw that Molly swore at the camera, making the footage unsuitable and irrelevant. I will now record the filming in the wood before the filming in college.
